Jessica A. Halling
Attorney Jessica A. Halling, Colonel, US Army (Retired)
Prior to joining Hardin Law PLLC, Jessica most recently served as the Senior Legal Advisor to Commander, Joint Special Operations Command after completing her 23-year active duty Army legal career. Jessica served a total of eight years in Special Operations units as a Command Senior Legal Advisor: Joint Special Operations Command, 1st SFOD-Delta Force, and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). She deployed multiple times to Iraq, Afghanistan, and to other locations throughout the world. On Fort Bragg specifically, Jessica served as the Rear-Detachment Staff Judge Advocate of the 82nd Airborne Division and as Executive Officer of the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate at US Army Forces Command. Prior to entering active duty, Jessica served as an enlisted Soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve for seven years while she worked her way through college and law school.
Jessica brings a wide range of experiences to our family law practice including advising Commanders, Service Members, and Family Members for 23 years as well as expertise in military law and policy, command relationships, litigation, national security law, administrative law, legal assistance, and other areas of practice.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota and her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law. She holds a LLM in Military Law from the US Army Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School, Charlottesville, Virginia. She is licensed to practice in North Carolina and Minnesota. In her spare time, Jessica and her husband Bradley participate in charitable causes that benefit Veterans and Military Families.
